We collect your email address when you create an account. We collect the sports teams you subscribe to in order to generate your personalized briefs. We collect payment information through Stripe — we never store your card details directly. We collect basic usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the Service.
We use your email to send account-related communications, your daily brief digest (if enabled), and important service updates. We use your team preferences to generate AI-powered briefs. We use payment information solely to process subscriptions through Stripe.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.
We use Stripe for payment processing — their privacy policy applies to payment data. We use Supabase for database and authentication services. We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate brief content — prompts include team names and news headlines but no personal user data. We use Vercel for hosting.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect functionality.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data with sports leagues, teams, or advertisers. We may share aggregate, anonymized usage statistics (e.g. "most followed teams") publicly.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you. You may request correction of inaccurate data. You may request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@pocketpodium.com.
Pocket Podium is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact us immediately.
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email with at least 7 days notice before changes take effect.
