2. Information We Collect
We collect your email address when you create an account. We collect the sports teams you choose to follow. We collect usage data including which features you use and how often. We collect payment information through Stripe — we never store your card details directly.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your email to send you daily sports briefs and account notifications. We use your team preferences to generate personalized AI briefs. We use usage data to improve the Service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. AI-Generated Content
Your questions to Cal (our AI analyst) are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Questions may be used to improve response quality. We do not share your conversations with third parties beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.
5. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a US-based database provider. Payment data is handled by Stripe. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing support@calsportsai.com.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites. We do not use Google Analytics or similar tracking tools.
7. Third-Party Services
We use Anthropic (AI generation), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), and GNews/NewsAPI (news aggregation). Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary with each provider.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to your personal data at any time. You may request correction or deletion of your data. You may cancel your subscription and delete your account through account settings or by emailing legal@calsportsai.com. EU/UK residents have additional rights under GDPR.
9. Children's Privacy
Cal Sports AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us immediately at legal@calsportsai.com.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
